My friend recommended this place as the best taco spot in China, even better than the ones in Shanghai. Tried it out and it definitely lived up to the hype. The flavors are classic yet authentic, and the tablewares have a cool mix of European and Beijing vibes. The cocktails are also great, especially during happy hour from 5 to 7 when you get a free taco with each drink. Can't beat that.
We had a great meal here. A good range of options for tacos. OK drink options. Each taco order comes with three soft flour tortilla. The happy hours offer one taco for each drink. Reservation is recommended. We came at 6, and it was the tail end of the happy hours. By the time we left, the place was pretty packed. Also, it was located outside taikooli, closer to subway line 10 side.
Pedro is the best waiter you could possibly ask for. The food is amazing and Pedro always suggests the best menu items and of course we try them all. We never are disappointed when eating at the Taco Bar. Half of the experience is knowing that with people like Pedro make you feel like family at Via Del Palmar! Pro Tip- Get the fresh guacamole and put it on everything you order after that. Fish Tacos and Ceviche are a must.
Great food and the wait staff is very attentive and provide fantastic service! LOVE the grilled fish tacos - always our fist stop upon arrival!
