Wow! This experience was incredible. Every dish was beautifully prepared and presented. The hospitality we received was very memorable and attentive. Our favorite dishes was the peanut and edamame started, squid with mint and the waygu, every bite was so flavorful! The birds nest dessert was such a new and fun experience to try such a rare delicacy and we actually really liked the taste. The service here was perfect and the table design was quite interesting and fancy. We went to a three michelin star restaurant the day after and ling long was even better than that one. Ling long deserves even more stars, I highly recommend this restaurant.🌟 🤩
Wonderful restaurant. Great dished all made with local chinese produce. Some fermented dishes. Amazing as all dishes have a very local flavour. Amazing for example the Wagyu beed with Oyster sauce, or the squid, or the crab “cake”, or the chicken consome. Loved it. Ling Long was given 1* Michelin star.
This venue inside the Story Hotel has a comfortable ambiance about it. The service was friendly and attentive the food sharing plate size was very good. Slightly overpriced for what was delivered.
Being vegetarian but liking South East Asian food can sometimes make it hard to find a good restaurant. Dinner here has all the hallmarks of a great menu. Enough options of starters and mains and a good location. However, it was very disappointing. The servings were very small. We ordered 2 sides, and 3 sharing plates 1 warm plate and left still feeling a hungry. The dishes were covered in sauce. Lots of sugar which overwhelmed the overall taste. The tofu was excellent but would have been great if there had been more but the sauce tasted very glutinous and we only spotted one piece of pak choi. The rain hit us and caused a flurry of activity - I feel sorry for the staff having to move customers around and bring out pots to collect the dripping rainwater. Shame the tarpaulin can’t be a better cover. I couldn’t taste any spice in the mango spicy drink and the mango tasted of the tins of mango pulp I have at home sometimes. All in all a disappointing meal that cost more than it should have done.
