I am someone who loves steaks, so this restaurant was a recommendation. We ordered four t-bone steak platters with one with rice, and the rest with mashed potatoes, coleslaw, soft drinks and two portions of garlic mushrooms. The steaks were cooked to perfection and were incredibly juicy and flavorful. The sides were also good, with the mashed potatoes being particularly creamy and delicious, however I loved the gravy. The only downside was the rice, my mother was saying it was a bit bland. However, the service more than made up for it. The restaurant was empty however the staff were really friendly and they helped us with the order. We will definitely be back again soon, and hopefully they expand on the menu.
Had the 300 gram ribeye, it was cooked perfectly tender and juicy, the loaded mashed potatoes were good and the coleslaw was fresh and tasty, the restaurant was clean and the service was great. I ate Tony Roma's in the States and it was nice to see the same quality in Bangladesh
I believe me and my friends visited Tony Roma's in Dhaka within the first week of their opening, and since then, we have frequented the place. We went there mostly being enticed by the ribs. I had high expectations about them, and I was not disappointed. The half ribs dish (three large portions) was quite the mouthful, and finishing it on my own seemed like a daunting task. They offered a number of "sauce" choices, and four of us mixed and matched the options and shared them all. Each of them had a unique taste, and made the meat even tastier. However, quite often the ribs are amiss. When asked, the waiters inform that "as they get imported, sometimes we run out of stock". But in my opinions, we visit the place 3/4 times a year, and among our 10 visits, at least 4 times we heard the same story, which means roughly, they do not have the main item in their menu in about 40% times. This is not a good news. On the other hand, we also tried the seafood items, appetizers and steaks. We have mixed feelings about the steak; the cooking is almost never right as per the specifications. One of my friend's asked for rare, but he did not get it as per his wish. I like visiting Tony Roma's, and I like most of the items on the menu, but they need to make sure the availability of their signature items.
Delicious food, large portions, ambience ok, staff friendly. Had some pasta. Fettuccine with tonato/shrimps. Can’t remember the name of the dish. The starter was a shrimp cocktail with huge dollop of creamy cheese on top. Delicious! Go with a good appetite otherwise you will not be able to handle the “portions-overload”.
