This is a very popular and renowned restaurant chain. But over the years they couldn't maintain or improve their food taste/quality. Nowadays we have so many restaurants who offer far better tasting food. The only upside is that they offer little cheap prices but other than that I don't find any reason to visit here
On a random morning, after the birth of my cousin's first daughter we went to a celebratory breakfast we went to Star Kabab and had an absolutely amazing breakfast worth every penny. Although the food is very rich in flavour and very high cholesterol, you can enjoy it once in a while but not regularly. Coming to the taste you never go bad with Star Kabab. Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner Star is amazing.
As I was crossing the area, suddenly decided to have breakfast there. A couple of paratha (oil-fried, thick roti), a bowl of chickpea curry, egg omelet with onion and green chili, and a cup of very heavy tea with too much tea+sugar+milk -- were my breakfast. All tasted fantastic!
This Star Kabab in Star Place, Near Eastern Mallika / Bata signal, Elephant Road, Dhaka, has Worse Customer Service ever out of all other Star Kabab restaurants in Dhaka, instead of serving and taking orders waiters and talking themselves and checking mobiles phones, also attitude is rude. Avoid that branch.
