Dining at The Great Indian Kabab Factory in Gulshan, Dhaka, is always a delightful experience, especially for kabab enthusiasts. The restaurant's standout offering, the mutton Galouti Kabab, deserves a special mention for its irresistibly creamy texture that melts in your mouth, setting a high standard for culinary excellence. Another highlight is the prawn tempura, which is perfectly crispy on the outside, maintaining a tender juiciness inside, providing a satisfying crunch with every bite. For those who favor seafood, the fish kababs are a must-try. Their sponginess and fluffiness make each kabab a delightful treat, showcasing the chef’s ability to balance texture and flavor. The mutton bhuna and rogan josh also impress, with meat that is tender and beautifully marinated, engulfing your palate in rich, aromatic spices. While I generally steer clear of biryani and cannot comment on it, the soothing dal makhani in the main course beautifully complements the robust flavors of the meats. When it comes to desserts, The Great Indian Kabab Factory truly excels. The kulfi and gajar halwa are standout dishes, rich and authentically flavored, ensuring a sweet end to the meal. The jalebi, with its crispy, syrup-coated swirls, is another irresistible treat. Although the interior decor has seen better days, the consistently exceptional service and extraordinary culinary offerings more than compensate. In conclusion, The Great Indian Kabab Factory remains a top choice for an authentic and indulgent Indian dining experience in Dhaka.
It's an Indian Restaurant. You will get authentic taste of indian kebabs. I'm not fan of Mutton Biriyani, but here, I'm surprisingly loved their biriyani. Don't miss the gulab jamun from dessert section. Overall staffs service are top notch!
Burnt tandoori chicken returned on three occasions as chicken was charcoal black. Lamb kebabs undercooked semi-raw. Limited salad offering. No sugar free drinks. Kept being plied with rice, potatoes, nans = low cost starch! Terrible dining experience, would not recommend or return.
Excellent restaurant with good flow of kebab’s. Staffs were friendly and polite. Kebab’s, naan, lassi and their desserts are highly recommended.
