Came here to meet up some friends for dinner. The table setting was a bit tight and I was getting knocked a fair bit, so I needed to keep on moving my chair inwards. The quality of the set menu was average at best. The main pasta dish was a bit dry, and we felt the waitress was a bit inexperienced. Also, the time for the food to be served took a bit too long. A positive note was that the wine list was decent and the bottle that was recommended to us was quite nice.
Food and Service was perfection. We experienced the best ever dining service from our waiter Alessandro. Highly recommend Sosta ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Grazie Lorena & Ricky
A wonderful dining experience, food was absolutely divine, so beautifully presented with unusual combinations. Service was flawless with all staff very attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant had excellent spirit and we are looking forward to going back.
This was our first visit to Sosta since the change in ownership and it was exceptional. The service was friendly and attentive, but the food was truly outstanding making this our new "go to" Italian restaurant in Melbourne. The menu was very thoughtful with a nice mix of classic and invention, but being a Thursday night, we went with the porchetta set menu. Not only was the meal delicious from start to finish, but having the provenance and cooking techniques explained to us by a chef who is very passionate and clearly at the top of his game, made this dining experience a special one.
