Dined here for a Christmas eve Dinner. The food was delicious. We had a three course meal and each course was a delightful experience on its own. Everything was beautifully seasoned and presented, the portion was on the smaller side though. The ambiance was something i very much enjoyed. However the Service was terrible. We did not feel like we were welcomed and some of the staff there behave very rudely towards us. As someone who works in hospitality i was very shocked to be treated in such a way in a fine dining establishment. It really made the dining experience worse and ruined our evening. Although the food was good, some of the staff attitude were just unacceptable, i will not be coming back.
🍴 All of the dishes we have are amazing!! The flavours, the presentation was tremendous too 😍 🙋🏻♀️ Great service, a bit busy in the evening but the staff took care of us really well! They responded to my request very friendly and quickly. The ambition and the decorations look fancy and beautiful
We dined at Lillian, the bistro part of Society for a pre show dinner It is a really attractive Bistro at Society with good food, wine & ambience BUT make sure you order tap water as we were surprised to fine out that we had been charged $18 each for water - apparently unlimited but still a surprise & not accetable
Went here with a couple of colleagues and clients. The surrounds are beautiful, and food is reasonably priced and quite delicious. However, all good meetings need a drink! The mocktail was sickly sweet, and looking at the wine list was a joke. Some of the bottles were very expensive for what they are. I’m not paying $300 for the same bottle I purchased for $80 direct from the winery. They tried to recommend me a $150 glass of wine - come on it’s lunch. We left lunch and went to another pub to have a few bottles of wine instead. I won’t be back.
