Celebrated my wedding anniversary at this wonderful place! Their food was really fresh and good, had their Taste of Freyja menu and it was really amazing, each dish was explained by their staff so you get to understand what were you tasting. The restaurant even gave us 2 extra wines to cheer for our anniversary!
Service, atmosphere 10/10 Bathrooms, set menu & wine pairing 9/10 This is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne! The rockling is the best fish dish I’ve ever eaten in my life. The only downside was that the duck & dessert (& pairings) weren’t *quite* as good as the other courses. That being said they were still awesome.
It was one of the best restaurants and best dinners we had on a family trip. Attention to detail and service was impeccable. Tomislava our waiter was fantastic. The word was so delicious and they even made a vegan dish for our daughter. The ambiance with live music and the view of the ocean just priceless. The prices were very reasonable for the exceptional quality. Highly recommend!!
My Wife booked a table for our 1st night in Tucepi, our table was in a great position at the front overlooking the stunning beach. The menu is great with plenty of variety and the Staff are so friendly and professional, recommending some amazing Croatian wines to compliment the meals, that 1st night our waiter was Boris, we enjoyed the night so much we immediately booked for a second night, the waiter that night was Dusko, both of them are great guys, good fun and help you choose your meal and were very open to what we asked for, the second night we chose 3 different types of Beef and asked if it could be cut in a way we could share equal amounts, they didn't disappoint as the beef came nicely sliced with plenty of tasty side dishes. We have holidayed on the Croatian Coast for many years and have eaten in many restaurants, Freyja we can count in our top 5 alongside a handful of Michelin Starred Restaurants Monte, Pelegrini and 360! the Staff though shone brightly as great, great guys! we met the owner the next day in the wine/souvenir shop, again such a great guy and was so good to the three of us... we will 100% return as Tucepi will be a regular annual visit for us now. Thank you Freyja, we absolutely couldn't recommend more highly, if you want the best of food served by brilliant Staff you simply cannot go wrong with this restaurant.
