The scotch fillet was excellent. Mashed potatoes was ordinary and lacked salt. Chips was not seasoned well unfortunately. Oysters were as oysters should be. Seafood Linguine was great and brisket was well cooked. Tiramisu was not the best. It was served in a nice water glass. 😊 Servicing person needs a bit of smile. Obviously he was taking his job seriously but he lacked bit of welcoming approach. Another place that sees attention due to location and money spent of the furniture.
Came here to try out the Italian food late night, in Flinders Street, Melbourne, reservations preferred as it was pretty busy when we walked in, ambiance was beautiful and vibe was good. the desserts were delicious, and so were eggs main dishes and oysters. some of their main dishes include Potato Gnocchi, Pappardelle, linguine, risotto, fish of the day, veal cotoletta, wagyu brisket, roasted lamb and charred prawns,
Private room experience - Food was delicious, the veal schniztel was so good and risotto cooked perfectly. Drinks and service from antonella was spot on. Only down side is being aske dto upgrade wines we selected to "meet the min spend". we comfortably made it, and dont like being told our wines (even though they are $130/bottle) arent pricey enough
This is my favourite restaurant in Melbourne. As I am not a local this is always a treat on my trip to Melbourne. Everything is just perfect, food, cocktails, ambience, and service. If you haven’t been try it you will not be disappointed.
