I enjoyed a delicious and lovely afternoon tea in a beautiful atmosphere with my friend for our special celebration. On weekends, in addition to the afternoon tea on weekdays, a buffet of sweets is available which was great. Staff was friendly and provided awesome customer service. Highly recommended. I will come back again.
Absolutely loved high tea at The Hotel Windsor! We had so much fun and were well taken care of! I absolutely enjoyed every moment of this very special experience! This is a must for mothers and daughters, couples or best friends.
Today we took our son and daughter in law for High Tea at the Windsor Hotel. We had enjoyed a High Tea there a few years ago and had a wonderful experience. Sadly today was not like our previous visit. Only 2 savoury items which were luke warm, 3 small sweets of unusual flavours. The finger sandwhiches were very nice. We were then offered 1 small scone each. The service was very slack. We were almost finished our tower and scones before we got our teas, despite asking for them twice. The only waiter who was attentive was the gentleman who was continually topping up our water glasses. So disappointing. The standard of food and service has clearly dropped.
Quite disappointing. As we had been to 3 high teas in the UK within last month, I expected a similar standard, especially the cost of teh high tea. Nice building but zero ambience within the dining area. There was a reasonable quantity and good quality of sandwiches, scones and cakes, but the service was virtually none existent. Tok ages to take tea order, all food was very slow in coming out. We have to ask 4 times for additional biscuits to go with teh savory item. There has to be better value and service elsewhere in Melbourne.
