Do not order cakes online for pick up. Service is non-existent. I ordered a birthday cake which is supposed to be picked up upon receiving a text the day of. That text never came. On the day, not a single one of their phone numbers on their website was staffed and half were disconnected - there's about half a dozen phone numbers spread across their website. I did not hear back from them until it was too late, and only after I chased them up by email - they took 4 hours to respond to that. Unreliable, non-responsive. If you want a fresh cake, and need it for a specific day, go elsewhere. Otherwise, feel free to try your luck at whatever's actually sitting in the windows of the shop.
My partner received this Italian ricotta cheesecake for her birthday. It was a dainty size but was quality over quantity! Delicate flavour not too sweet crumble and zest on top adds a different dimension to the flavour/texture. Had pretty specific time constraints for delivery but they graciously accommodated that. Thank you for adding a bit of sweetness to my partner’s bday!
Called in for coffee and brownie after seeing my optometrist in the Merthyr Village. Had sampled their brownies before hwne left by grateful patients. Bought a gift pack for my doctor as well.
My husband and I had lunch today at Dello Mano. My lunch was excellent. I had rye bread with pastrami, sauerkraut, mustard and cornichons. It was super. My husband had ham, cheese and mustard on sour dough bread. His sandwich was also very nice. We had two decaffeinated coffees and for afters my husband had a salted caramel icecream and I had a vanilla icecream. Both great. I also noticed that quite a few people bought cakes. We did not have cake but the cakes looked very tempting. The staff was friendly. I can highly recommend going to this deli.
