The food was great but the serveice was sloe
Best restaurant around! I visit Restaurant Engel often and it never fails to exceed my expectations. The restaurant itself is warm and inviting, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and the food is outstanding. My children are always treated as very special guests as well. It's a great spot for everything from a date night to a family dinner or an evening out with friends.
The food was great. Can particularly recommend the roast beef and smoked fish. Very nice outdoor tables. It was packed but the service was a bit too chaotic - got a few things wrong
We stumbled on this place by chance. Goodness me, we were lucky. The food is very German and very fantastic. We ordered a range of traditional dishes and everything was very tasty. The beer is pretty good as well. High recommended.
