Croissants and apple pies are worth the price! Lovely courtyard and the atmosphere is a bit out of place, not like your regular Kabul eatery.
Had a lunch yesterday July 11, 2022 Ate at the garden, was a nice sunny day. We were 2, and no other customers. Got very good juices and the usual "type" of international meal. With 2 salads as appetizers. Total cost 3.400 Afghani, which is around 35 Euro. Probably the most expensive restaurant in Kabul. If you want a truly Afghanistan experience is not the most interesting one, but if you are walking around Chicken Street ... It's s good place where to enjoy a drink or a meal.
A little difficult to find from the street. It is inside a courtyard down a side street. But well worth the find. Excellent food and service. Wine and beer available if you are a foreigner. Nice and comfortable inside. Very relaxing atmosphere. Great selection of food. Highly recommend.
In a garden behind thik walls, not so easy to find, a spot where you can relax, admire the roses and have a very decent European meal and drinks. For Afghan standards, it is even romantic. One of the few places in Kabul where you can escape the sadness of the town.
