Homely food. Nice hospitality. Only order takes a bit more time to serve. Vibes are splendid like an authentic afghan restaurant
Definitely one of the best restaurants in Kabul! Me and my friend visited this restaurant today to check this place out and try the national afghani cuisine. Right at the beginning when we entered the restaurant we were very positively surprised about the restaurants nicely and traditional furnishing (see added pics). The restaurant has got a security checkpoint at the entrance. They offer an English menu and have a very friendly English speaking service. The ordered food was very rich and delicious. In terms of price very fair as well. Overall: 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I visited this restaurant numerous times when in Kabul. They have indoor seating but I always ate in the lovely courtyard outside. The food was always freshly cooked and really delicious. Don't come here expecting fast service though. This is my favorite place in Afghanistan to eat authentic Afghani food. I never had a bad meal and that is why i kept coming back for more. The Sufi Restaurant is found in the 1st street of Taimani. The garden is very nice also the restaurant buildings are all in traditional Afghan style. There are many private seating possibilities, however, I would recommend the garden or the rooftop terrace. Besides the food they offer Shisha. The food contains a variety of traditional Afghan dishes, some of them you barely find in any other Afghan restaurant. Food including salads and fresh juices are safe, eat there many times and never got sick. The only disadvantage is the poor service and you will wait sometimes quite long for your food.
