I have been on a mission to find a great BBQ in the DMV area, and my search continues. The service and atmosphere are excellent. I ordered brisket, pork ribs, beans, cornbread, sausage, and mac and cheese. The brisket fell apart beautifully but lacked flavor and was lukewarm. The pork ribs also looked appealing, though they were a bit salty and lukewarm. The beans were excellent, especially if you enjoy a Spanish-style preparation. The cornbread and mac and cheese earned a solid five stars from me. The sausage was just okay, and the BBQ sauce was also mediocre. I recommend that the restaurant keep the meat in the warmer until it’s ordered to prevent it from being served cold.
Absolutely phenomenal. As someone living in Texas now, this holds up against some of the best. Special shout-out to the brisket, pulled pork, and cornbread. Incredible food, good service, and a good price for what you're getting. Looking forward to coming back next time I'm back in town!
Absolutely top notch prime brisket Delicious brisket beans and the best potato salad. Great IPA too Very nice staff and very friendly
My fiance and I ordered 2 separate orders of the dino ribs, brisket, chicken, ribs, and sides of sweet potato mash, barbeque beans, roasted vegetables, and pickled onions. When we got home, the brisket was very fatty and unable to eat. The dino rib was half done, and the chicken was dry and unseasoned. The sweet potato mash was like a puree baby food, and the vegetables were unseasoned as well. We spent almost $200 on food that we were literally unable to eat! I am very disappointed, to say the least, and we traveled over an hour for this horrible experience!
