This was my first time here. I ordered the CORAZZIERA, which has Mozzarella provolone, mushrooms, homemade sausage, caramelized onions, red bell pepper coulis. It was just OK. Every bite had mushrooms. Big mushrooms, small mushrooms with the little tops, it was basically a mushroom pizza which is NOT what I was expecting. If you’re a mushroom lover maybe you’d like it. I wish the toppings were more evenly distributed or portioned. The service was great, but for the price I wish I would’ve gon to Via Ghibellina. I do not see myself coming back here.
Staff seems very nice but I had the worst salad of my life here. It was inedible and I left with my stomach grumbling. I didn’t have the heart to raise a big issue but I mentioned it was inedible and I couldn’t finish it. The waiter took my food without any further questions and I paid the full $20 for the salad. I didn’t feel like being a Karen and raising an issue but I was extremely dissatisfied. My friends’ meals seemed fine. I’ve never had such an awful meal in my life, and I always finish my food even if it’s gross. This was purely inedible.
The pizza here is very good and at a good price. I ate here alone, and was wonderfully surprised by the attentive and friendly service. The price was great too. As a bonus, their water is really good! They have a machine that dispenses it cold and filtered, and it did not make me miss my normal choice of Pepsi Zero with pizza.
The pizza isn't "world's greatest" but it came out fast and hot (and we were very hungry). The chicken Milanese was amazing and a good sized portion. The prices were affordable (everything under $20). I feel like this is a good lunch stop, but maybe not the best dinner choice unless you're in the area, looking for something hot/fast/affordable. So not a bad choice!
