For the second year in a row I brought friends for a holiday dinner to Rania and had an incredible experience! We selected the $90 four course menu and each loved all of our dishes! The standouts were definitely anything with lamb. There were lots of options for pescatarians and vegetarians. Don’t skip on their cocktails if you’re drinking! They all come out in fun, theatrical ways with big flavors and textures to match. If I worked downtown I’d bring clients here all of the time!
must try at least once in your lifetime! I'm not the biggest fan of Michelin guide restaurants specially with such a high price tag but i think its worth going for the experience. my family and i went on my mom's birthday and if you're expecting special treatment, don't. they gave her a card at most. we tried to order at least one mostly everything on the menu to try everything. i would recommended coming here in a group to be able to sample everything. generally, everything was well seasoned but a little on the salty side. the cocktails were honest and very unique. the atmosphere was dark with a small light above the table. embarrassingly, my parents had to take their phone flash light out to read the menu. overall, i would not return but definitely worth the experience.
Being picky eaters used to New Orleans, Hungarian and German foods, this place is still AMAZING. Impressive menu, generous servings, clean, fresh tastes. The Egyptian bread and the Veal Scaloppini were quite an experience, the Grand Marnier Souffle is absolutely worth the wait. Classic fine dining meets family and casual wear.
Restaurants with this old style ambiance are few and far between. Piano was playing, as I walked in on a Friday night, spoke with pianist understand playing primarily Friday evening also some Saturday nights. Was greeted warmly by Waitress “Shavonda” upon arrival. Showing my business partner and myself to our table immediately. Our waitress gave us a review of specials and answered our menu questions. Nice selection and varied Menu. Enjoyed a tall craft draft, Salad, Rolls and Homemade Lasagna. Portions were most adequate, well presented and delicious! Great prices. All in All a memorable and enjoyable meal. As an old restaurant man, I can recommend with confidence and look forward to visiting from out of town with my wife in the near future. It’s been over a decade since I wrote an restaurant review but “Rania’s” has earned this one. Thank You. Great for Business, Couples, Behaved Children, Groups, Banquets.
