Ordered the entree platter with the pork, which was delicious and juicy! I really like the mustard paired with the pork, and the pickles were good. Wish there was some spicy to go with all the sweet flavors. My one big complaint is regarding the dishware. A porkchop cannot be easily cut on the small, lightweight, rectangular plates. It is difficult to refrain from damaging the plate with a knife, as customers before me clearly struggled too. Please invest in larger ceramic plates!
Lady Jaye in West Seattle was fantastic! We had the weekly special, meatloaf, and it was absolutely delicious. The sides were just as great! Highly recommend!
I just had the small plate meatballs and a salad. the serving was big! A nice surprise these days when servings are tiny. Decent prices too.
My husband and I had noticed Lady Jaye during regular west seattle adventures and decided to give it a shot. We were not disappointed! The interior is funky and inviting, and can honestly say we had one of the top salads ever at our dinner. We split the butter lettuce/smoked mushroom salad (pictured), black eyed peas, and mac n cheese with pork shoulder. The food was all made to order and came out salad first along with plates to share. Even though we sat at the bar as is our usual preference, the server was attentive and exceeded our expectations (brought fresh plates for sharing with each course, made sure drinks were filled etc). We didn't try the cocktails but the beer list was excellent. We will definitely be back for future happy hours (to try said cocktails!) and dinner.
