The place is a little warm. It is in a walkable neighborhood with paid street parking. A causal place where you order up front and then grab your food. Seating is limited and is first come first serve. The food was flavorful and came out hot. In terms of spice levels, if you can handle habenero then most food will be tolerable. The mango lassi was warm, could use some ice cubes to make it a more refreshing drink.

Owner's attitude is poor. I’m changing my review from one star to four stars because I don’t want to harm the business, but I want to message the owner: her attitude needs improvement.

Was searching for a quick place to get lunch, while on the way back into Canada. Though it was out of the way it was definitely worth it. The portions seemed small but were surprisingly filling, and are well priced. Ordered the Lamb Kebab, and Chai will definitely make it a point to come back if I am ever in the area again.

After my trip to India last year, I am completely spoiled for Indian food to a point where I have a hard time eating at most Indian restaurants in Seattle. So I am thrilled that Spice Waala exists! Spice Waala specializes in fast, delicious, inexpensive and extremely flavorful Indian street food like kathi rolls and oh-so-addictive bhel puri. Everything is store-made and so fresh! I love their authentic Chai and Lassi as well. And they have an amazing company value of food justice to boost. There is not much seating, but the place is sparkling clean and stylishly decorated. What a gem!
