Atoma was everything we expected minus the food. Some dishes were stellar and some were barely touched by our party. The crumpets really surprised me, as I'm not big on crumpets, however these have got to be the best I've ever had. The salmon was moist but a bit under seasoned. The rosette cookies taste like crunchy onion rings and not bad overall. The cheek is a skip, also mediocre. They were sold out of the Lions Mane katsu which must have been the dish everyone goes to Atoma for. Service was impeccable though and we saw many people on dates here enjoying their time. We enjoyed our stay but wished the food was less pricey for the quality received. The cocktails were very mediocre, most of the group only got a starter cocktail did not order a second round. It was a nice one and only time experience!
Came here for dinner and had an absolutely amazing time. All the dishes were incredible. We had the Rosette Cookies to start, followed by the Crumpets. For our main we got the Pork Collar and the Heirloom Potatoes. It was all really delicious and well portioned. For dessert we got the Baked Alaska which was probably the weakest dish on the evening. It didn’t quite hit the spot for us, but overall the meal was amazing. Will be planning a return trip soon.
You have to cancel your reservation within 72! hours or they keep your money. If they are so good and in demand, you’d think they could fill a spot for two within 72 hours. I will never reserve again. They stole my money.
A lovely spot for a special dinner. This restaurant is located in a charming converted home on a main street. We dined in the lovely patio in a fenced in, pergola framed space on a warm summer evening. Our waiter was charming and attentive and the other staff were friendly and welcoming, even though we did not have a reservation. The interior decorations were charming, including the spacious restroom which included a bold choice of wallpaper. The food was just phenomenal; the rosette cookie is famous for a reason, and we also really enjoyed all of the other dishes as well; the chef even made zucchini taste good. I couldn't recommend this restaurant more highly.
