Yum!! So tasty, and such a charming little oyster bar. We ate well, and recommend everything we got, but also can’t wait to go back and try everything else. Also very interested to check out barnacle bar next door next time we visit.
Love love love oysters, and this place not only delivers on amazingly fresh oysters, all the food was delicious. There's also an adjoining bar that you can dine at while waiting for your table, which we did. Cocktails and all the bar snacks were outstanding. We were a table of four and enjoyed a lot of delicious food, drinks and company. While we talked a lot and ate slowly, we never felt rushed or pressured. Super friendly and comfy vibes, great buzzing atmosphere. Such a great time!! We definitely want to come back and try more of the delicious food and drinks on offer.
This is a casual place for (expensive) small plates of seafood. The seafood is of excellent quality. There are lots of raw items such as ceviche scallops and steak tartare. However, their fried oysters were some of the best I have had. You need to get there quite early to get in line if you don't want to wait. That was the one down side. It is very popular. The craft cocktails are excellent. The service was very attentive as well.
This was by far the best meal we had while we visited Seattle. We got there at the opening to get a table. From fresh oysters to bread & butter, everything was high quality made with fresh local ingredients. Great service by friendly staff, being thoughtful of our child’s food preferences. This is a dining destination worth traveling for.
