A very unique, delicious and personal dining experience at The Peasant. The meat is fantastic quality, the flavors of our dishes aligned very nicely and the wine pairing was a great accompaniment. I absolutely loved being able to talk with the chef and sommelier. Highly recommend for any carnivorous diner.

We are in town from NY and were excited to go based on Instagram postings. They did not disappoint. Each course was better than the next....I can hardly choose between my 3 favorites! Unexpected layered flavors delighted out palates. The prep work, knowledge and care that went into these dishes was impressive. We were at chefs table, which was super fun and informative. The only negative was the bar-type chairs.. very uncomfortable. But the meal and the staff made me forget my discomfort. If you're in Seattle and you are a foodie, give it a go. Make a reservation well ahead of time. They only hold about 16 people so it fills up fast. Friendly relaxed atmosphere. (Dress casual, but nice.)

A trip back to a favorite area brought us back to an old favorite eating establishment. Used to be called Alamo Courtyard Cafe. Now the Pheasants Courtyard. Changed ownership. Came here for lunch and enjoyed the food almost as much as we enjoyed the lovely new ownership/staff. We were fortunate enough to get Sandy as our server and she was delightful! Loved her attitude and promptness with service. The food was served hot, fresh and with a smile. Sandy gave great recommendations. Atmosphere was pleasant too. Sat outside with the ambience of a lovely lil fountain. Nothing fancy, old lil gem in the heart of Alamo. Lunch menu has good selection of salads, burgers, etc. Great place to try if your in this area. Thanks Sandy for your hospitality. Will be back again when we are in your neck of the woods!

Great food and great ownership. Amazing burger. The French dip is delicious as are the salads. The carrot cake is to die for!
