I was blessed w a beautiful Christmas gift from my daughter with a reservation to Vetri Cucina. She and I had a beautiful evening filled with white lights and holiday garland, service beyond compare displayed by every staff member but especially by Danielle, and culinary works of art presented upon each plate put before us. It will be an evening I will never forget. Thank you, honey, for this memorable gift.

Great experience! First time in Philly and Vetri’s was recommended, so satisfied we decided to go! The service was great, everyone was very kind and welcoming. It is a very relaxing ambience and the food was spectacular! Some personal favorites were the foie gras pastrami, sweet onion crepe, spinach gnocchi, the lamb, and the molten pistachio dessert(in conversation we mentioned our birthday and they included a happy birthday plaque, which was a cute and thought addition)! John was out server and was great, upon leaving he gave us a list of other destinations to check out while we are in town which we looking forward to checking out! I would definitely recommend!

We visited Vetri for my birthday. In is in an old building on Spruce Street. Our server was extremely knowledgeable of the food and wines. We had the quattro piatta; starting with perfectly cooked hiramasa and apples; it was out of this world. My wife had the sweet onion crepe, which has been a standard for 25 years. Next, I had the spaghetti and prawns; with the first bite you smell the ocean; there was a little heat too. Next, I had the dover sole; easily the best fish I have ever had. She had the smoked baby goat, interesting and good. The triple chocolate mousse was super and had a "Happy Birthday" on it. The server suggested some excellent wines and I finished the night with a glass of Calvados. This place is super special; go there!

When looking for a spot for my small business' annual holiday party, we chose Philadelphia but was unsure which restaurant to visit. We wanted somewhere with a tasting menu, wine pairing, and a high caliber of food. Vetri Cucina delivered on all 3, and we appreciated most that you could choose your own adventure with the tasting menu. My wife and I have different food preferences, and we really appreciated a tasting menu that felt tailored to both of us. The restaurant was small and intimate, tables a good size, service very good (timing was a little slow at moments, but I'd rather that than too fast), and we were welcomed with an amuse and bitter aperitivo. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an exceptional dinner.
