Five of us at here and we all organically said we had had the best steaks of our lives. Without overstating it, members of our party have eaten at some of the finest steakhouses in Manhattan, Montreal, Rome, Sydney, Tokyo and beyond and this now tops our list. The service and vibes were also excellent.
This place is definitely worth every penny! From the service ,to the food , everything was so perfect and we couldn't be happier 😁 we had dinner reservations, and we didn't know where to park, since they don't have parking, we walked in real quick to ask , and they do valet parking, while they were sitting us at our dinner table , they had taken our car to a parking lot. The steaks here are sooo delicious, we also tried the flan which was so good. We also wanted to be "adventurous" and try the blood sausage, which was different, but my boyfriend seemed to love and even wanted more 😆 I highly recommend this place to everyone! You won't be disappointed
I took my cousin who was visiting from Buenos Aires, Argentina to show off with my favorite Argentine steakhouse, the Best in LA, on Sept. 21. Staff was attentive and friendly from the amazing host to the great servers. We had the burrata and prosciutto entré which was melting in our mouths. Then we had the recommended incredible Tapa de Ojo and Skirtsteak seasoned and cooked to perfection with the signature Papas Fritas provenzal and my favorite De La Casa salad. All sides are delicious and desserts are all made in-house with love. Amazing service as always, romantic ambiance. Brothers Max, the Sommelier, and Gerard the Executive Chef gave us the best recommendations. We ended the meal with the famous and decadent Postre Gardel and specialty coffees. Returned for dinner two days ago with my great friend visiting from Chile. Same unforgettable experience!
Our check was over $300 for two people, was it worth it? Absolutely not. Genuinely confused how this place has 4+ stars which brought us in. Service was subpar. 18% gratuity is AUTOMATICALLY added to ALL checks. Terrible service? Doesn't matter, they are getting 18% tip. We ordered the platter ($150), most of the meat was tasty; however, at this price, you'd be better off going to Fogo de Chao, you will get more meat for less price and way better service. Overall this place is nothing special, service was subpar. We had to try several times to get our waiters attention. Bar man initially refused to give us 3 tastings to taste the wines before ordering. I have many Argentinian friends and they are all kind, friendly people. Really not sure why this place doesn't have the same culture and vibe. Will not be returning and recommend you don't go as well.
