Absolutely amazing food, service and vibe. I got the cream soda which was absolutely the best cream soda I’ve ever had and the number 19. My only note is that I would probably get 1 sandwich between two people and an appetizer, we got 1 sandwich each and both thought it was a lot! But the food was absolutely delicious and worth every bite. The pastrami melted in our mouths.
So SAD how this place and the surrounding area has gone "Down Hill"! It smells of urine as you wait to be seated...not what you want to smell before you eat. The owner and the snarky people that seat you try to seat so they can get the most MONEY that they can get per table. It's not about Customer Service here, it's all about MONEY! GREEDY, GREEDY, GREEDY! The sandwich is so NOT, I repeat, NOT worth the $30.00 :-( The "Famous 19" was just, "Meh!" I have had far better Pastrami Sandwiches! The waiter talks Politics and is grossly misinformed! I thought I was going to be upset when I heard this place was Closing but now I think it will be no great loss!
