SO COOL. We took my brother here for his birthday, he LOVES seafood and said it was a 10/10. We literally got to cook our own stake on a little hot rock. So cool and the waiters are awesome and sweet. And the desserts Ooooooooo don’t get me started, absolutely amazing 10/10 would recommend
Clearly the best restaurant experience I had in Houston. The food is literally amazing and includes a large variety of freshly prepared traditional Japanese dishes. The sake and wine list is very extensive as well. The staff is outstanding - nice, eager to help, polite, and friendly. Overall, I had a delightful dinner!
I had an amazing Japanese food experience! i hate coriander, and complain all the time about it, but i always choose cuisines that include this plant! I didn’t feel it in any dish here!
We usually target one restaurant on our travels and this was it. Uchi Houston did not disappoint! We did the tasting menu which was absolutely phenomenal. Kids started off slow with a couple dishes then fell in love with a lot of things we were eating. Service was awesome but only thing I would say is we asked for a different dessert than our son ordered and got the same one; granted, it was the signature dessert and phenomenal but would have liked something different. Overall, HIGHLY recommend going.
