This place is such a special place to me that I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a high quality BBQ experience to visit Truth BBQ immediately. Texas is rife with incredible BBQ experiences, but Truth has a very special element that sets it apart from everywhere else I’ve been in Houston, Texas. All of their staff people have excellent experience that has taken them all over Texas including places like Lockhart, which is the BBQ capital of Texas. What you will find is that all of their staff is full of passion for meat over of the fire as they strive to create a unique opportunity for the patrons. Everything is delicious! Tater Tot Casserole is something everyone should enjoy with that juicy brisket and incredible smoked turkey. If you have the opportunity, GO!!! Just be prepared to enjoy yourself!
Arrived about 45mins before they break before dinner. There was still a crowd and the food was delicious. Would recommend the ribs they were so tender as was the brisket. I wasn’t a fan of the sausage it needed to be warmed up. The line moves a bit slowly so don’t be in a hurry when you go. The sides are tasty with a standard portion side. Pickled onions and pickles served with the meal along with a slice of bread. The staff was very friendly and they all greeted with a smile and were very helpful. Sauce variety available at each table.
Came all the way down from Costa Rica and drove 5 hours from New Orleans for the TRUTH. The truth iluminated and change my life! The brisket is out of this world and the turkey is even better! The cornbread and mac and cheese are top tier! If you are in Houston and have not visit this reputable establishment you are missing out on EVERYTHING life has to offer! Downside: line was 30 minutes but worth it!
We arrived at 17:30, when it opens at 17:00 and we waited about 20 minutes in line. We managed to get a few ribs before they ran out of them. They were great. And the brisket as well, very tender. We loved it. Nice tables to sit and eat.
