Great birthday experience at Mastro’s! The waiters were all extremely welcoming and insightful with all wines and food recommendations. We were seated in a nice quiet area where it was more intimate with a Christmas tree to light the room up. Food was perfect. Portions are definitely big here so you’ll be having a to go box like we did. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
🥩🐟 Love it! 😊 Mastro’s Steakhouse is an absolute gem in Houston! 🥩💎The vibe here is unmatched—everyone is dressed to impress, giving the place a luxurious and fancy atmosphere that’s hard to find in the city. The live piano music 🎶 🎹 adds to the sophisticated ambiance, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion. ❤️ Our waiter was fantastic, especially with it being our first visit. He explained everything thoroughly, helping us choose a bottle of wine 🍷and our meals. My boyfriend, who is a steak connoisseur, said it was the best steak he’s ever had (and he’s tried them everywhere)! I ordered seafood, and it was equally delicious. To top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary butter cake to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. It was warm, buttery, and absolutely divine. 🧁🤤🎉 While it’s on the pricier side, it’s worth every penny. We’ll definitely be returning. Mastro’s is now one of our favorite places to dine in Houston! LOVEEEEEE 😋

It's by far our favorite restaurant and it's become our go-to when we want an evening out. The food is consistently amazing - never go without ordering the butter cake. But the bone-in filet has turned me after eating ribeye my entire life. The service is always good, but we honestly plan our trips around Frank. He sets the tone for the evening and always takes the time to catch up with us (yes, he remembers and will make it a point to ensure we feel at home). While we've been a few times without being able to see Frank, it really makes an incredible difference when we can spend the evening with him. If you're fortunate enough to get him as your server (or request him on your reservation), you are guaranteed an outstanding experience.
