The carnitas are amazing! The shop is small and there is no where to sit. The staff are super friendly and warm. Vary affordable pricing and food is packed really well. I will definitely be back!
The carnitas from Uruapan are nothing short of amazing! The tender, juicy pork is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, offering a melt-in-your-mouth experience. The flavors are rich, with just the right amount of smokiness, and the toppings of cilantro, onion, and green salsa add a fresh, vibrant touch. The tortillas are soft and warm, making every bite a true delight. If you're a fan of authentic Mexican carnitas, Uruapan is definitely a place you need to try!
You haven't had carnitas until you've eaten here. It is like transporting yourself to another country. The staff is friendly and they speak Spanish unless you specify otherwise which I think is pretty cool. You get to watch them prepare your carnitas as they chop up a huge amount of meat. I could only eat two tacos. I am amazed the tortillas can hold up to the massive amount of meat, but they do. They provide the appropriate accompaniments with fresh limes, cilantro, onions, salsas and pickled jalapenos. I recommend getting there early and choose a weekday. You can't beat the quality and value of this restaurant. We loved this place!
The food here was so delicious that I had to take a pound home to share with my wife!!! I would have felt like I was cheating on her if I didn't... If you like carnitas this is the spot. The prices were perfect and the service was excellent!! If you are in a hurry do not attempt to eat here. Save this spot for when your patience is 100%. Its worth the wait for sure. Delicious and I give this resturant 6 stars. The owner makes his round and is no slouch when it comes to working. He is excited and grateful for His customers. He is opening up a new location to accommodate more people. I give this resturant an A++++++ rating. Enjoy.
