this place is very popular and crowded. The food is amazing. This is not my usual type of cuisine so I am not familiar with the type of dishes and our server was great with explaining the dishes and the types of ingredients that were in them. Whether they were spicy or not, how they were cooked. I ended up going with the Carolina trout, which was very good The shrimp and grits were amazing as well. The cornbread was good as well. The drinks were tasty. Service is fast and the food comes out quickly. Definitely recommend.
Very cute place for classic southern food that is done correctly! Definitely won’t find this in the West Coast! Tried the shrimp grits & fried chicken meal with collard greens & mashed potatoes, and crab cake. Very delicious.
The menu is incredibly good, but the best thing is the service. I felt at home. The expreso coffee was incredibly good but the farmers daughter’s smoothie was to dream about.
Excellent brunch spot in an interesting old building with 2 floors for dining. Service was friendly and attentive. The menu had a variety of brunch plates with a southern twist. I had the king biscuit which was an egg, ham and cheese smothered with sausage gravy. Delicious!
