SEED is always awesome. I have been here a few times over the years and it has never disappointed. Today, we had a work meeting to discuss some music projects and made a reservation for a 12:30 lunch slot. I started at the bar with Kristin before the rest of my group arrived. She was very personable and let me try the individual syrups and ingredients so I had the Horse's Neck Bourbon and Ginger cocktail. After everyone arrived, we moved over to Fiona's section where she advised us on what to get. The service was perfect, while we talked shop. For appetizers we tried the Pimento Crostinis and Grit Fritters with cheese. My friends enjoyed the specialty sandwiches and soups, and I got the Sweet Potato Ravioli with some Chicken, but honestly you can't go wrong with the food, service and the bar program here.
Everything about this place is exquisite. Love every moment. Just make sure u make reservations lol. Sat at the bar but came in early enough to get a seat. Food was delicious. Will was the perfect server. He did so well recommending so many diff dishes. Ill def be back.
I booked the private event space and was so excited to wow my co-workers with a new restaurant for our company team dinner. Though the esthetics were good and the food was pretty good as well, the planning experience was TERRIBLE! The event associate Candice was difficult to get a hold of, took days to respond, took vacation during this time and didn't inform me or pass my reservation on to someone else. I was trying to finalize my menu, servers, block time, arrangements, artwork for menu's, etc and I couldn't even get them to pick up the phone or respond to an email. Never again! I do this very regularly for my company and this was the worst experience!
Way too pricey! When Seed first opened, prices were high but it was a nice restaurant so we ate there. The chicken schnitzel was 18.00 for a piece of fried chicken with some arugula on top. When we the other day, that same 18.00 chicken schnitzel was 30.00 and the piece of chicken was much smaller. I continue to get coupons thru Facebook and email. Why don’t you stop coupons and lower prices? We will NOT be eating here again! Too expensive for what you get. On another note, our server was exceptional and knew her menu back and front.
