1st time here and would come back. Food reviews are all about preference, right? So the items we really didn't care for....the Mac and Cheese was dry/grainy and the Peach Cobbler had about 2 slices of peach in it and the rest was breading as you can see in the pic. The items we really liked were the brisket loaded fries.....absolutely delicious and filling. I drizzled their house sauce over the fries and it was banging. Their house sauce is vinegar based and has a nice bite to it, they have a regular and spicy...both were good. The collard greens were gooooooood!! Looking back we should have ordered two collard greens instead of the Mac and Cheese and cobbler....next time.
The lady taking orders was pleasant. Nice atmosphere, even had a bar setting to watch sport games. Wish I could come back to support but the food just was not giving. The 1 pound of brisket looked thick and moist. Cooked perfectly but there was absolutely no flavor in it. Comes with toasted buns. I liked that so we made brisket sandwiches. The hot bbq sauce saved the meal. The collard greens contained pork so we couldn’t order those. The Mac & cheese appeared old and cheese separated from pasta and coleslaw was not good. Seemed like everything is a hit or miss here. Unfortunately I would not come back to support.
The staff here is pretty friendly and helpful when it comes to us placing our orders. The food came in a timely manner. We ordered the 2 meat and 2 sides. I love the smoked wings. The ribs are good as well.
YES....GO there. Very welcoming from literally the moment we stepped into the place. Greeting, helpful servers, great food, fair price. We will attend again 🤗
