The pizza was so fresh and yet still very fast. Very yummy and had a great lunch here. It was during the week so it was mostly empty and we had the place to ourselves. We customized a veggie pizza and loved the oregano herb mix they sprinkled on it all. We also had the cheesecake which was pretty good. Only downside was they had the doors open and there were a lot of flies. Definitely gave you that 20th century neighborhood pizza place vibes. But also a bit annoying.
This was my third time ever visiting O4W in Duluth. We ordered a Detroit style I Love Pepperoni 10” pizza. It was made fresh so it took about 30 minutes before the pie was brought to our table. No big deal. We grabbed a couple of beers from the brewery next door and sat on the patio while we waited. I didn’t have my hopes up since my previous experiences weren’t very memorable. I was super impressed with the Detroit style pizza this time. The sauce was tasty. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was covered with a mountain of pepperoni and plenty of cheese. I do wish the atmosphere was cleaner and more welcoming. It’s pretty hot on the inside despite all of the doors being opened. And the patio seating needs some updating. I’d eat here again, but I’m likely to take it to go and sit on the town green.
The new owner is absolutely awful. She is a rude, nasty woman. Do not give your money to this business. The quality has gone way down hill. Please support other nearby small business, whose owners actually care and are good humans. Please go check out yelp review and you will quickly see that I am not making this up. She is that awful.
Had a fresh hot Meat Lovers pizza last night. But was surprised and disappointed from there. The new management has decided paper plates, and plastic utensils are just fine for dining in. To make matters worse, the kitchen staff wanted one of the exterior doors open to stay cool. On a cold night, this made sitting at our table for dinner too cool. Again, the pizza was good, so take out is likely fine, but unless things are changed substantially, I will dine in at one of the many great options in downtown Duluth.
