Nam Phuong Buford Highway offers fantastic Vietnamese food with a great selection of dishes. The Thai tea was sweet and delicious, perfectly complementing the meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. The only downside was the parking lot, which can be a bit hectic. Despite this, the quality of the food and service makes it well worth the visit.
1. Parking Parking was very limited and competitive. I couldn't even find a spot near nearby stores and ended up waiting about 10 minutes for an open space. 2. Service Although all the tables were full, I was seated almost immediately, which was a plus. However, I wasn’t offered water, and my pho took about 25 minutes to arrive—service was definitely on the slower side, including refills. The staff, though, were very kind. 3. Food As for the pho, the main attraction—it was tasty but not quite my favorite. The broth was a bit bland for my taste, though my friend thought it was too salty. Pho toppings are very small portion. 4. Price It’s not cheap. Two bowls of pho with taxes and tip came out to about $40.
Overcharged us more than DOUBLE price since they combined two tables that have White people, and then blamed the reason on us and refused to apologize.
Ten is us had dinner here last Tuesday. We had made reservations the week before, so they were expecting us. My wife and I began with Thit Nuong Cuon (BBQ Pork Egg Rolls), Tom Rang Muoi (Salt and Pepper Seafood) for me, and Do Bien Rang Muoi (Salt and Pepper Shrimp) for her. All three were excellent. Others ordered various dishes, including pho, with nearly all consumed. Very little was left to bring home. Service was excellent! Parking was convenient and plentiful.
