What a delicious find! We came to enjoy some unique pastas and we left satisfied. Started with a smoked scallops started, quite the show to come under a glass dome with smoke that tasted so good. Next we tried half sizes of several dishes but the squid ink pasta really stood out, spicy, and savory. Great service. Looking forward to our next visit
Many things are excellent. This is a small upscale restaurant with a nice, big bar. The tables are close but nicely placed so that you don't feel on top of each other. The service is gracious and polite but a bit slow. We arrived before 7:15 and left after 9. My wife and I had different experiences. She started with the mozzarella appetizer which has subtle flavors that are deliciously blended. She had the fish in a lemon cream sauce that she raved about. She finished with a chocolate pie that was rich and delicious. I had a salad that was swimming in dressing. It was fresh and tasty but had grit in it. The scallops were perfectly cooked but also had grit in them. It was a generous portion and accommodated my concern for allergens. The cocktails were well crafted. I'm sure that my wife will bring me back here.
We really enjoyed our first visit to Lyla Lila! Very good cocktails to start, enjoyed with the yummy buffalo mozzarella. The bread was a special treat - salty, crunchy edges with a delicious molasses spiced butter. I had the crispy duck lasagna and husband had the waygu ravioli with black truffles...chef's kiss! Finished with the olive oil cake, which was lovely. Service was very nice and the hostess was most accommodating when we asked to switch tables due to a bit of a draft from the front door on a chilly night. We can't wait to come back!
Very fun atmosphere with a fairly wide, unique menu. Food was wonderful, especially the cavatelli ragu, snapper dish and wagyu beef ravioli! Service was fast, attentive and very knowledgeable.
