Very nice steakhouse. Expensive but good food. It was our anniversary and they comped our dessert which I appreciate. We had half salads, the 12 oz filets, brussle sprouts, and broccoli. The salads were more than enough. The filets were cooked exactly as we ordered(med-rare). The sides were good. Not exceptional. I had the brownie layer cake and my wife had the peanut butter cream pie. The layer cake was too rich for me. My wife loved the pie. It was a nice atmosphere. Dark and quiet. We arrived when the opened at 5. It was a little louder by the time we were leaving but it was still quiet enough to have a normal conversation.
What a wonderful experience we had for dinner last night. There were 5 of us! The service was good. The restaurant was easy to get to and get in. By 6:30 it was already a packed house of people but the food came out super quick. (The bread pudding was my favorite all star dish of the night) we would go back
We went for our daughter’s birthday. The parking is easy, valet. We were shown to our seats promptly. The seating in the restaurant allowed plenty of space between the chairs, there was no scooting by because the chairs were too close or touching somebody else because the tables were too close. We were very comfortable. Our server Ron was the best. he was a fountain of information about the menu. Everything we tried was delicious. We will return again~
What a night! We got stranded in Atlanta when flying through last week and had been to Rathbun a few times over the years, so we figured we'd make the best of our travel issue. Let me tell you, it was out of this world! We had incredible service, and they were very sweet and accommodating to our 10 year old who has a few food allergies. They made her feel so special, even bringing her a dessert on the house. The ribeye I had was one of the best steaks I've ever had, and we enjoy fine dining regularly. This is a TOP TIER restaurant, from the time you walk, through the entire experience. Thank you Team Rathbun!
