Fabulous lunch with friends at this cozy French cafe. Fair- priced menu selections. Tried and shared items on the menu, all very good, yummy chocolate dessert, shout out to Benjamin for the warm welcome, friendly service, and surprise birthday candle on dessert! Appreciate it that we were not hurried but allowed to linger, and enjoy our lovely afternoon together.😊
Absolutely lovely little place. So so charming. The food was delicious and the people were so friendly. Thought it was cool that it's the oldest restaurant in the downtown Decatur area! Definitely will come back!
We went early ,due to the size of the Restaurant and with just two, no reservation and we were seated right away. The menu is very nice and our server helpful in making our selections ,which were excellent. We both had the Chicken Cordon Blue and Onion soup and both were very tasty and good.
We went for our daughter’s birthday celebration. It is a small place but we had the absolute best time. From the great wine( I wish I had written the name) to escargot to Chocolate Mouse with a candle on top for dessert. The whole meal, service and atmosphere was perfect. My daughter and her boyfriend each had duck though each prepared a difficult way. I had the Ratatouille with lamb sausage ( fabulous) and my husband had the special Spaetzle with ham and cheese. We were there for 2 hours and didn’t feel rushed. We will definitely be back there soon.
