Yesterday, 10/29/2024, my wife and I celebrated our 13th anniversary with dinner at Apt 4b. Overall, the food was incredible! We started with the crab dip, which was good, though the portion was extremely small for $20. We also had the cornbread, and it was delicious. I ordered the curry with what they called “JUMBO” shrimp —flavorful, but far from jumbo. These were closer to 31-40s, so the description felt misleading. My wife ordered the turkey wings and absolutely loved them. Service was fantastic, thanks to our server Darren, and with it being relatively slow, our food arrived quickly. The ambiance and chill vibes were perfect, but I would’ve given them a higher rating if the shrimp sizing had been accurately described.
The atmosphere was great, but the food......the Penne Vodka with Oxtails was on the salty side! The rice in the Jerk Chicken and Rice was boiled way too soft and the chicken was salty. All that hype.....but we enjoyed the Appetizers, the Shrimp Taco was a little spicy and the Cornbread with Guava Butter was served hot, tasted like heave and was the Saviour of the night. For a Friday, the service was slow, also they would do well to add Chicken Wings and Fries to their menu. The drinks we worth it.
The food was very iffy, some decent servings and some not good at all, the service was ok, the prices were outrageous considering the serving sizes. I would never go back. I have a connection to the Caribbean and I had a certain expectation from the food. Very disappointed.
We were here for a 2 day visit to Atlanta and found this place to have a nice date. They had live music which added to an amazing vibe already. The food was plentiful and absolute delicious. Great place for a date or to impress. Highly reccomend
