I like to wait a time or two before posting a restaurant review, but golly, we will absolutely will be back; Asian fusion cuisine style menu. food note: from skillet to plate to expo line, then immediately to the table provided by team members whom are on top of service. Noted + noticed that the food doesn’t hang out under the heat lamps long at all. PS the bar seats are where it’s at, friendly, + very knowledgeable in food and drink. Too genuine conversations shared. Details to note: -restaurant offers a picture of their food online with the menu, catches the eye. -drink menu features their glass vessel in drawing format next to cocktail. -allergies noted all throughout the menu -pics provide what we got!
Literally googled food near me and when I saw the pictures on Google it was an immediate yes ! I truly enjoyed the tuna tacos with mango, avocado, and cucumbers. The crunch in every bite was so crunchy. And boy do I love a good crunch. Yum 😋 Oh and the Chicken Bao , very savory. Not too heavy and just delicious. Truly appreciate the menus options. Coming from a girl who doesn’t eat quite a few things. Thank you, even the customers was a joy to be around.
I was looking for a fun place to take a friend in celebration of my birthday. We had an early reservation (6:15) and I requested a quiet table. We arrived on time, ordered drinks and dinner-- in a few courses-- and at 7:10 we were told that we must leave as another party would be coming in! What?!?! Mediocre food, perfunctory service (wonky table I was made to adjust myself), and then booted in less than hour?! Never again!
We selected Whiskey Bird for an early bite before heading to the Atlanta Botanical Garden for Sip and Stroll in the Garden. A nice bonus was that there were early bird specials going on when we arrived. Our waitress was super helpful recommending a fantastic appetizer, the Peruvian Chicken Tacos. The taco shells were crisp and flavorful and the chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The real star was the Blackened Grouper. I was a little skeptical of grapes paired with arugula and tomatoes, but the grapes provided a nice contrast to the spice of the blackened grouper. The one item that we did not enjoy was the dip duo. The queso/salsa and guacamole were uninspired almost a store bought kind of quality to them.
