Love the whisky selection. Our server was kind and knowledgeable and attentive. The food was outstanding! I enjoyed my hangar steak tremendously. The dessert was sinfully good. I understand why it is Michelin rated. GREAT STAFF!
Fantastic service and atmosphere. I really enjoyed the space. The food was good, with some issues. The Farm Egg Baked in Celery Cream and the Farro w/ Brussels were delicious. The Pumpkin Soup tasted okay, but the uneven temperature was very distracting. Part of the soup was very warm and part very cold. The fish was also good but seemed not to be cleaned well. I ended up finding several scales as I was eating, which is unpleasant. The dessert was very pretty and also delicious.
Lovely restaurant with a great menu, drinks, and service. The seasonal menu is frequently updated. I had an excellent steak. The appetizers stole the show though. Charcuterie plate and the baked egg were great.
Dined here again in late July. The food and service continue to be flawless. We tried a couple of starters we hadn't tried before (the fried okra, the scallops, and the field pea & peanut salad), and they were all phenomenal. The smoked pork chop and the creamed corn were also hits. The wine list is exceptionally well-curated, particularly the sparkling/champagne selections. The desserts are sinfully good, The service is always attentive yet unobtrusive. We have been dining here for several years, and it continues to be the best restaurant in the city.
