Lazy Betty stands out as a Michelin-starred gem in Atlanta, offering a dining experience that transcends the ordinary. The tasting menu, an expertly crafted journey through a series of six impeccably designed courses, showcases the chef’s innovative flair and meticulous attention to detail. Each dish, from the delicate amuse-bouche to the indulgent dessert, is a testament to culinary artistry. We indulged in the additional courses, which seamlessly complemented the exquisite six-course lineup, enhancing the overall experience. We were utterly stuffed by the end! While we declined the wine pairing, we opted for specialty cocktails, wine, and champagne. Each drink was thoughtfully crafted, bursting with flavor, and perfectly matched the sophistication of the meal. The service was exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. For those seeking a more relaxed experience, the bar offers a tempting array of small plates and cocktails, ideal for sharing in a more casual setting.
Lazy Betty was great. Our waiter, I believe Brian, was awesome. He noticed that we were indifferent about one of the tasting menu options and brought an alternative that wasn’t on the menu. He was very genuine and attentive. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The drinks were great and the atmosphere was beautiful. Our favorite dish definitely was the risotto which they also surprised with! A great birthday experience.
Super pleasant bar area with stools at the bar or tables. Bar bites are tiny portions, pricey, and very good. Great way to try out the food before investing in the $225 menu. All prices include 20% service.
Pros: Chef Treats. Best breads ever. All courses delicious. Pastry chef amazing-complex snd creative. Friendly unpretentious service. Cool atmosphere. Excellent text communication. Cons: Parking and entrance complex. Back room better than front for privacy. Well worth the star! It is a SPECIAL meal.
