Superb local spot focused on the best seasonal ingredients and honest flavorful preparations. Gorgeous terrace in warmer weather but indoors is cozy and relaxed. Many changes regularly so hard to predict what will be on offer, but during our visit we found everything to be top quality and uniformity delicious. Hake with yellow peppers was perfectly cooked and balanced. Pasta wa ms balanced like an Italian would envy. And the lamb was subtle and gorgeous. Same for starters. Not a weak dish on the menu. Concise wine list matches well with the food and priced to enjoy. Wide selection of wines by glass and carafe at very fair prices. Easily one of our new favorites in London!! Bookings advised but it’s a big place and likely easy to find a table .
Unusual location, raised above street. But provides outdoor terrace dinning and avoids street disturbances - really friendly welcome. Attractive restaurant decor. Very comfortable. Good menu. Excellent food and wines. Great service
Super food, wonderful service and lovely ambiance. And yes the chips were the best we have had !!! Would highly recommend
What a great way to end the year finding this fabulous restaurant. The food is great and different but not quirky. I advise getting a table down the far end as it does get noisy! Our waitress was the best! We shall definitely be returning. It’s perfectly located for a lot of theatres but don’t bother going to see The Tempest!
