I visited specifically to try the mussel flatbread, so that’s the only dish I can comment on, but I’m happy to announce… it was delicious. I had to work after too so I only had a green tea but the wine list is good. Service was friendly and attentive, nice buzz in the room. Will happily go back and try more dishes.
We had breakfast here on a Saturday morning. I had one of the best plain omelette in my life and croissants are very well baked and delicious. The service is considerate. It’s quite pricey but worth it, apart from the juices, which we thought were freshly made but they’re not, they buy some juice bottles and make you pay quite a lot! Apart from this little flaw, the rest was great!
It all started well. However, at the end of dinner we asked for a bottle of wine. Once the bottle arrived we were told we had 5 minutes to drink it despite not being told last orders had been called. When this was questioned a member of staff (who had not served the table all evening) became aggressive and rude. As a result this ruined the evening. The manager did not deal with the situation well. Very disappointed. So many great restaurants in London…this is not one of them. Choose differently.
Average at best. We arrived at 1.30pm for our reservation but our table wasn't ready until 2pm. Service was mediocre and food the same. The 'warm' chocolate fondant was stone cold (two people at the table had the same) and the waiter described it as 'served warm' it was straight out the fridge, the first time we sent it back it reappeared 1 minute later stone cold, we tried again it was vaguely warm and the third time the same so we gave up. The waiter said it had been taken off the bill, it hadn't so we paid and left. All a bit strange and wouldn't return. For the money it is a mediocre restaurant on every level.
