Absolutely obsessed with this place. Once you get over the fact that you have to leave central London to get here, it all gets better by the moment. Really cozy as you walk in, there are no many tables and there is a more than decent space between them which helps maintain the relaxed atmosphere. The food is just fabulous, we loved every single dish from the tasting menu. The service is also great, and the chefs bring you each dish and explain what you are about to taste. The best part, apparently the menu changes completely every few weeks, allowing you to have something different every time you come. The price of the tasting menu is £73 as of 2024 and they do not add service charge on top. Will definitely be coming back here soon.
What can I say... In general a good experience, however, none of the dishes blown me away considering it's a one star place? This was not the case when I went to the last one in NYC... The variety of ingredients are quite limited (a lot of pickled stuff) and most dishes rely heavily on the sauces especially the main. The waiters only come when serve the dishes and feel like they're in a hurry to leave. The price is fairly decent tho...
Absolutely no complaints about the food, flavours were amazing, really went together, nothing too pretentious that didn’t work, atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely, fine dining but with a more relaxed feel, the only complaint I would have is that we felt rushed through our courses, at one point we were almost felt we were told to ‘hurry up’ with one of our courses, when your spending £250+ on a meal for 2, you really want to take the time to enjoy the flavours and the wine that goes with it, I think this is to do with the chefs and not service

Casa Fofo offers a simple yet meticulously crafted tasting menu, guiding diners through a culinary journey from the sea to the richest flavours the country has to offer. There's no need for stiff service or pretentious settings here, Casa Fofo immerses you in a welcoming atmosphere where you feel like an extension of the open kitchen. With a maximum capacity of around 16 people, the focus is on delivering beautifully presented dishes that only get better as the tasting progresses. It's been a while since I've encountered such a thoughtfully curated menu, gradually building to a crescendo and culminating in two exceptional desserts - both perfectly balanced and refreshing. A big thank you to the team at Casa Fofo for a memorable dining experience!
