I’ve wanted to try this place several times before, but there were always too many people, and I was in a rush, so I had to skip it. Finally, I got the chance to try it this time! It’s been ages since I last had this Filipino taro ice cream—it’s a taste from my childhood! I haven’t seen it sold anywhere for a long time. I ordered an ube shake and paid extra to have it made with coconut milk. It was so delicious that I finished it in less than five minutes! The rich taro ice cream paired with coconut milk is a perfect match—I highly recommend adding coconut milk! The only downside is that there isn’t a larger cup option available.
I only ordered the halo halo. I loved the ube icecream and the things on the top and bottom. The middle part had too much ice pieces and it was a bit hard to stir. But flavorwise it was nice. Finally could taste a halo halo. This dessert would be really nice for the summer ☺️ next time ill try out their other dessert.
Went for my first time with some friends that were visiting London.. I already went there two more times by myself! One of the best desserts lately !! Thanks 💚
Really enjoyed the Ube Bilong… which is essentially a purple ice cream sandwich with a fried pancake on either side as the sandwich part. Hot and cold at the same time. Ice cream part was mild and creamy. The whole thing was quite enjoyable. We went to the Leicester Squate location which was tucked away down a side alley. You need to google it to find it. Orders/payment is taken from the self-serve terminal on one side of the store.
