The food and experience here was absolutely divine. The flavours and presentation of the dishes were exceptional. Whilst descriptively small on the outside, inside it’s spacious. The dining room staff were courteous, warm and military precise with their service. The new venison dish guys was out of this world! The restaurant has a vibrant but relaxed ambiance. We got to meet some of the kitchen staff who were a joy to speak with and my wife was more than over the moon with the gift of a the famous candle ❤️❤️ lovely evening guys and we’ll meet again!
An extraordinary restaurant with a clear identity and creative cuisine! The mystery of the menu adds a sense of uncertainty and requires close attention to dish descriptions throughout the two-hour culinary journey. The wine pairing is excellent and intense, featuring 8 different bottles. Full praise for the wine list, which reveals wineries from lesser-known European wine countries. Three umami highlights: Candle, frog legs, and pigeon... when you feel excitement and smile as you taste, that's it! The larger staff team actively participating in the presentation of dishes and communication adds an extra touch to the overall experience. Thank you for this great experience!
Went with my work team, was a little bit unsure as didn't know if they would cater fully for a vegan - was prepared to leave and not make a fuss. Boy, was I wrong. They completely catered for me and in style! The chefs even made 3 individual DELICIOUS canapes just for me (I was the only vegan there), which I was not expecting. The first course of our 5 course tasting menu was a beetroot and plum ponzu shaped like a rose, with vegan caviar - so tasty. I then had an onion dish, which was so deliciously savoury I wanted to lick the bowl (but that might have been considered impolite so held myself back). Third course was globe artichokes with truffle - and I love truffle. The fourth course was celeriac, which did not look like celeriac, with a form of mushroom on the side that was so crispy and delicious. They also somehow make the sauces that go on everything so incredibly filled with flavour, it must be hours of work. I'm not normally a dessert person, but the chefs made a vegan cheesecake (without base) that was so good I wanted to marry it. Seriously, if you can go there, make it there in a hurry. One note of caution - they do need advance notice if you are vegan, which is really not a big ask for this level of wow.
An incredible dining experience . First class food and service. Loved how the dishes all told a story. A special thanks to Francis and Thomáš whose knowledge and attentiveness both shone. A faultless experience. We look forward to visiting again one day.
