My friend and I had a fantastic evening. We were blown away by the chicken pâté – it was seriously one of the best things I've ever tasted. The rabbit was also cooked to perfection. The service was top-notch, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the food was absolutely incredible. I can't recommend this place enough!"
The food is exceptional here and along with the service makes it one of the top restaurants in London for French cuisine. Both of my visits were great, loved the rabbit and the veal as well as the pork chop. Would highly recommend for a special occasion and not spend a fortune ( estimate £100/person with a couple of drinks)
We managed to get a booking midweek, and were very pleased that we did. Fantastic bistro very close to Farringdon station - really buzzy, great atmosphere, fabulous food and service, despite the restaurant being completely full. Our Waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The raclette on toast was a taste sensation and not to be missed if it’s on the menu. Meat eaters are spoilt for choice - veal chop with Roquefort butter was excellent. Good value in central London for the quality of food and overall experience.
I just LOVE this restaurant. Cosy, relaxed, great atmosphere, fantastic knowledgeable staff and outstanding food! The steak au poivre was cooked to perfection. The Onglet melted in your mouth and the black pudding with a green sauce was one of the best things I have ever tasted. This is my 3rd visit and I cannot wait to come back again! It is consistently DELICOUS!
