Maeli made our night so special! She gave us the best recommendations, and Renato at the bar did amazing cocktails. Everything was perfect and we're definitely coming back! Thank you Maeli and the entire team at Kol.
Went for a private chef's table event and it was AMAZING. Highly recommend. Great space and the food was fantastic.
Not the place for me. Tasting menu was just ok. A lot of flavors that didn’t jive with each other. I’ve experienced many fine dining tasting menus before and this one rank low on the list and especially with the price charged. Service was good. But, not a place I’d go back to
Myself and my husband have been fortunate enough to visit a handful of Michelin Star restaurants of various cuisine and style. Kol was up there with the best. We took 2 of our friends there for a joint 40th birthday and they loved it, plus the team left them both a birthday card on our table, and they bought out a little cake and candle towards the end of our meal. Everything was brilliant. From the relaxed (but excellent) service, the unusual (but utterly delicious) wine recommendations, and of course the exquisite food. I love Mexican food, but this experience was so unusual and such a journey for the tastebuds that I don’t have a bad word to say about anything I tried. All in all an amazing experience, and would highly recommend. If I had only one negative thing it would be in relation to the final bill received which was a shock to my bank balance! The most expensive Michelin star meal we’ve had (even beating the 2 star restaurant we have tried!)…But we did have 4 margaritas (a must try by the way!), 2 bottles of champagne, 1 bottle of red and of course 4x taster menus, so really the £1500 bill I was presented with should have been expected, and I don’t regret the experience one bit!
