Fancy yet casual with great food! Very attentive service, would revisit just because of the service itself! Highlight of the day was definitely the salmon starter. Amazing flavour and texture! Dessert of the day was the crumble. We visited on a sunday lunch and there was A LOT of food served for the price we paid! Tender beef + lamb, great fish option as well. Will definitely revisit.
Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Food was sensational, every course was delicious - had the crab starter, pork chop main and the pear cake dessert. Service was attentive and courteous and it’s a lovely ambience. Perfect place for a treat!
I love Claridges itself, it's an aesthetically beautiful building and hotel, and have enjoyed the lounge area for tea etc before. Came with my wife and a friend for festive menu dinner at the restaurant. The dining room is very pretty and comfortable. Unfortunately none of us came away particularly impressed by the food or wine. Spent near to £500 and really none of the courses were of note. Just felt pretty flat by the end of it and not what we were anticipating. Very unlikely to return to the restaurant, just isn't special enough on the food front to warrant the cost, and doesn't live up to the hotel.
The food was good, however it was not great. The waiter was very nice and the atmosphere was awesome. We had a slight problem with the bill however it was handled swiftly, which was much appreciated.
