We had an absolutely amazing time at Lisboeta restaurant. The food was delicious and full of authentic flavors. The service truly stood out – our waiter was incredible, taking the time to explain every dish to us, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The combination of great food and outstanding service made for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!
I found this Portuguese restaurant to be quite overpriced. They were heavy-handed with cilantro, which was surprising, as I've traveled to Lisbon and surrounding areas without encountering it in the cuisine. Ultimately, I could only enjoy two appetizers that caught my interest. The bill for those two appetizers and one main dish came to over £100, and that was without any alcohol--definitely steep for what I received. On a positive note, they do have an extensive wine list and excellent service. Reservation recommended as the space is small and it gets busy.
Nice venue on lovely Charlotte Street, the restaurant has a good buzz and a welcoming vibe. Across 3 floors, the ground level is mainly counter seating, some at the kitchen pass. The floor above has proper tables, and the basement I believe, is an immersive kitchen dining experience. Staff were all friendly and attentive. It’s a sharing plates concept and on the whole we found our dishes to be very flavoursome and fairly priced. The exception to this was the £36 scarlet prawns - 3 minuscule creatures, lacking any great taste. Puds were good though, and overall, we enjoyed Lisboeta.
Super experience. Friendly & efficient staff, lovely venue, open kitchen & absolutely fabulous food. My companion & I shared five starter dishes & each was delicious. I will look forward to going back a second time!
